Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of IRU Shield websites, applications, APIs, endpoint agents, dashboards, updates, and related cybersecurity services.
1. Scope of services
IRU Shield provides software and security services that may include malware detection, scanning, behavioral monitoring, web protection, alerting, policy controls, reporting, and supporting administrative tools. Features may vary by plan, region, device type, or deployment configuration.
2. Eligibility and authority
Users must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you register or use IRU Shield on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Accounts and credentials
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
- You must provide accurate registration and billing information.
- You must promptly notify IRU Shield of suspected unauthorized use.
4. License and permitted use
Subject to compliance with these Terms, IRU Shield grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the service for internal lawful purposes. No ownership rights are transferred.
5. Restrictions
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disable, or interfere with platform protections except where required by applicable law.
- You may not use IRU Shield to build, distribute, or conceal malware, spyware, credential theft systems, botnets, or abusive automation.
- You may not interfere with updates, signature services, telemetry integrity, or administrative controls in ways that compromise security or billing integrity.
- You may not use IRU Shield in a manner that violates law, third-party rights, export restrictions, or the Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Service changes
IRU Shield may improve, modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue any feature or part of the service. We may also issue emergency changes to address abuse, threats, or operational risks.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where there is nonpayment, fraud, unlawful use, policy violations, security abuse, elevated operational risk, or legal necessity. You may stop using the service and terminate subscription use subject to billing terms.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Cybersecurity services reduce risk but cannot guarantee that every harmful file, behavior, exploit, or attack will be detected or prevented. To the extent permitted by law, IRU Shield disclaims implied warranties and limits liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, except where such limits are not permitted by applicable law.
